The Stalker is a highly flexible and versatile 12 point crampon,
ideal for winter Munro bagging and fell walking.
Quick and secure
attachment is ensured with a thermoplastic toe bail and thermoplastic
heel. This is a C1 rated crampon compatible with B1 rated boots (eg the
Kayland Apex Trek). Comes with an anti-ball plate as standard and
crampon bag.
Leading UK magazine "Trail" in their November 2007 feature "Crampons on
Test" awarded the C.A.M.P. Stalker BEST VALUE. Trail magazine decribed
the Stalker as "the best value-for-money C1 crampon on the market and
ideal for general winter walking and easier mountaineering".
This followed Trail's December 2006 review of crampons, in which they
had also described the C.A.M.P. Stalker crampons as "The best
value-for-money C1 crampon on the market as at the price this cannot be
beaten for general winter walking and easier mountaineering".
"Country Walking" magazine, January 2007:
"dead-easy to adjust and the plastic cradle system made them simple to
put on in anger. Also come with excellent instructions if you're new to
wearing crampons. Great value and come with a free bag, too."
"Climber" magazine, February 2007:
"It has much to recommend it, being easy to adjust, having simple but
effective anti-balling plates and lots of fairly short points."
Crampon compatability: C1
